Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Our Head Office in Duncan, BC

Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week from 0930 – 1630


Summary of Job Duties:

  • Greeting Clients
  • Answering phones
  • Email correspondence with clients and staff
  • Staff scheduling and managing the master calendar
  • Coordinate staff meetings 
  • A/P management
  • A/R management
  • Allocate job needs within the company
  • Day to day bookkeeping entries to assist Bookkeeper
  • Assistance in Payroll Processing/managing staff timecards
  • Flexibility to help when needed in the retail store

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for the medical industry and for what they do in the workplace. This position is ideal and encouraged for individuals who have a background as a Medical Office Assistant (or in other related fields), but it is not a requirement. The applicant must have some related office experience.

Encouraged Related Office Experience and Knowledge in:

  • Use of all standard office equipment and basic computer software/programs/email/accounting programs
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google, QuickBooks
  • Paper and paperless file management
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

  • Organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Time management and Prioritization of tasks
  • Conflict Management Resolution and Problem-solving

  • High school diploma and 2-3 Years of experience, or related post-secondary education
  • Ability to work in an active office/retail location
  • Excellent written and verbal communication – Proficient in English
