The Pelvic Sling was designed to provide rapid, comfortable pelvic bracing for patients experiencing possible hip fractures. Researchers at Legacy Health System utilized clinical trials to determine the optimum range of force required to safely and effectively close an unstable pelvic fracture. The sytem developed allows for secure bracing and prevents over tightening. The belt is attached by hook and loop quick release and a click/lock measuring buckle.
